Worm Gear Transmission Slew Drive Description
The VE6 slewing drive is a compact high transmission solution
consisting of a gear and a worm shaft. The motor drives the worm
shaft to move, thereby driving the gear to move. There are mounting
bolt holes on the gear, and the object that needs to be rotated is
fixed by bolts, and the rotation of the object can be realized.
1. By the self-locking gearset, no break is necessary on the
driving engine.
2. Available with directly mounted planetary geared motors.
3. Worm drive—higher wear-resistance of worm gear drive, which can
load strong output torque and tilting moment torque with the well
performance of stability and reliability. The worm drive is also
available for higher tracking precise field.

Applications
Slewing Drive Tracking System
Solar energy is a very potential energy source that can be
developed and utilized. There is light every day, energy every day,
and compared to other energy sources, the cost and stress of
transportation can be eliminated. And compared with other energy
sources such as exhaust and other environmental pollution problems,
this energy source has no substances to be emitted in the later
stage, nor does it produce factory noise. But there are still some
problems with the technology of harnessing solar energy. The energy
flow density of solar energy is relatively large, so the converted
electric energy is relatively small. In the case of good light, one
square meter can only produce one kilowatt of electricity.
Therefore, when more electricity is required, the area of the
device needs to be increased, which will increase the cost. The
atmosphere can have a big effect on light, so the conversion of
electricity is more difficult. In order to improve these problems,
the tracking control system can calculate the sun's azimuth, so
that the solar panel can be kept perpendicular to the sun's rays
and increase the conversion rate.
