Hydraulic Worm Gear Slew Drive Description
Slewing drive or slewing ring can be treated as a gearbox because
the core components are the slewing bearing and worm shaft. It also
consists of auxiliary components such as seals, housing, and motor.
The motor is usually DC planetary gear motor, AC gear motor or
hydraulic motor. Hydraulic motor is mainly used in the construction
machinery as a power drive system. Slewing gearbox can readily
withstand the axial and radial forces.

Features
Slewing drive gearbox has reverse self-locking characteristic which
greatly enhances the stability of the system and increase safety
factor. Compared to the traditional swing products, slewing drive
gearbox is easy to install, easy to maintain, and saves
considerable installation space. The slewing drive gearbox adopts
hourglass worm technology which provides more tooth contact, thus
higher torque. Slewing gear and raceway harden processing
technology to increase the slewing drive's field life. The slewing
drive gearbox is fully enclosed which could protect the drive from
various environment conditions such as dust, water, sand etc.
Applications
Spider-mounted platform application
Spider-type high-rise car is mainly in the unmarked wheel type,
unmarked rubber track type two walking methods.
