What is Tower CSP
The Heliostat concentrated solar power station, as one of the
mainstream CSP technology routes, tower CSP has received much
attention in recent years. Compared with the mature trough
technology, tower photothermal power generation has higher thermal
efficiency and concentration ratio, lower terrain requirements, but
also has high risks, lack of technical maturity verification, and
complex control systems.
At present, the common tower technology in the world is based on
molten salt as a molten salt tower for transferring heat medium and
a hydrothermal tower with water working medium as a heat transfer
medium, and the molten salt tower has a large capacity. The
advantages of large-scale energy storage are favored.
